Servsimple Privacy Policy
Servsimple provides software used by service businesses to collect customer request details, coordinate scheduling, send service updates, and manage communication related to active job inquiries.
Information we collect
When a customer interacts with a business using Servsimple, the system may process names, phone numbers, project addresses, service request details, preferred timing, uploaded photos, and message history related to the inquiry.
How information is used
Information is used to review service requests, ask follow-up questions, prepare estimates, coordinate scheduling, send appointment updates, and support customer communication for the business operating the workspace.
Text messaging
Businesses using Servsimple may use SMS for service intake, scheduling, reminders, estimate follow-up, and service updates. Message and data rates may apply depending on the mobile carrier plan. Reply STOP to opt out of text messages. Reply HELP for help.
How consent works
Customers generally opt in by initiating a text conversation with a business using Servsimple or by otherwise requesting service-related communication. The platform is intended for customer care and service workflow messaging, not unrelated mass marketing blasts.
Sharing of information
Servsimple does not sell customer personal information. Information may be shared only with service providers needed to run the platform, such as hosting, messaging, payment, scheduling, or file storage providers, and only to the extent reasonably necessary to operate the workflow.
Payments
If a business sends a payment or deposit link through Servsimple, payment processing is handled by third-party providers such as Stripe. Servsimple does not store raw payment card numbers through its SMS workflow.
Data retention
Businesses and platform operators may retain customer communication and project-request data for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the business, support active or recent jobs, maintain records, resolve disputes, and meet legal or operational requirements.
Security
Servsimple uses reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect customer information, but no method of electronic storage or transmission is guaranteed to be completely secure.
Your choices
You can stop SMS communication at any time by replying STOP. You may also contact the business you are communicating with if you have questions about your information or want to update project contact details.
